We are planning to invite four keynotes for IASP2010(2010 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing) and Dr. Xing-Gang Lin for KaaS2010(2010 International Workshop on Knowledge as a Service).

1)、Prof. Dr. José M. F. Moura
2)、Dr. Xing-Gang Lin
3)、Dr. Guillermo A. Francia

1)、Prof. Dr. José M. F. Moura
Dep. of Electrical and Computer Engineering,Carnegie Mellon University
Pittsburgh PA 15213-3890,USA
Web site:
http://www.ece.cmu.edu/~moura/

José M. F. Moura is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and, by courtesy, a Professor of BioMedical Engineering. He holds a D. Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, M.Sc., and EE degrees all from MIT and an EE degree from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST, Portugal). He was a visiting Professor at MIT (2006-2007, 1999-2000, and 1984-86), a visiting scholar at USC (Summers of 79-81), and was on the faculty of IST (Portugal).

Moura's research interests are in statistical signal and image processing. He is also working in the new area of network science, with particular emphasis on distributed decision and inference in sensor networks. Current research projects include
distributed detection in sensor networks, robust detection and imaging by time reversal, bioimaging, SPIRAL, SMART, and image/video processing. Besides industrial funding, his work is currently sponsored by several Darpa, NIH, and NSF (two medium size ITR) grants, and several industrial grants.
Moura is the President of the
IEEE Signal Processing Society (2008-2009). He was Editor in Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing and acting Editor in Chief for theIEEE Signal Processing Letters. He was on the Editorial Board of several Journals, including the ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks and the IEEE Proceedings. He was in the steering committee of the IEEE International Symposium on Bioimaging (ISBI) and is on the steering committee of the ACM/IEEE International Symposium on Information Processing in Sensor Networks (IPSN). He has served on several IEEE Boards including the Press Board, the TAB Periodicals, and the TAB Publications Review Committee, and chaired the TAB Transactions Committee (joining all 80+ IEEE Editors in Chief). He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the IEEE Publications Services and Products Board (PSPB) (2008). He was one of the guest editors of the 2005 February February 2005 Special Issue on Program Generation, Optimization, and Platform Adaptation and co-guest edited the 2004 January Special Issue of the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine on iterative signal processing.

2)、Dr. Xing-Gang Lin
Dep. of Electronic Engneering, Tsinghua University
Beijing, China

Dr. Xing-Gang Lin graduated from Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University in 1970. He studied at Department of Information Science, Kyoto University in Japan from 1979 to 1986, where he received his MS’s degree and Ph.D. both in information science. In 1986, he joined the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University and has been working in the field of digital image processing and analysis. In 1990 he was promoted to be a full professor of electronic engineering, and began to supervise Ph.D. candidates in 1991. In Tsinghua University, he finished more than 50 R&D projects from National Hi-tech Project (863 Project), China National Natural Science Foundation, China Key Projects of Science and Technology, and joint research projects from overseas and domestic enterprises. He has published more than 140 journal and conference papers internationally and domestically.

He was an Expert Group Member of Information Acquisition and Processing of National Hi-tech Project, director of the Committee of Multimedia Technology in Telecommunications Society of Chinese Institute of Electronics, general chairs (co-chairs) and advisory/technical/organizing committee members of many international conferences, a member of the Academic Affairs Committee of Tsinghua University, Chairman of the Academic Affairs Committee of Electronic Engineering Department.
From March 1989 to September 2003, he was the director of Image and Graphics Institute in Tsinghua University in the 14 years. He is now a member of the Degree Conferral Committee of Tsinghua University, Chairman of the Degree Conferral Committee of Electronic Engineering Department, the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, Member of the Expert Consultant Committee of Information Science Department of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Fellow of China Institute of Communications, Academic Affairs Committee Member of Chinese Institute of Electronics, Expert Group Member of Automatic Identification Manufacture Association of China, Trustee of China Society to Motion Picture and Television Engineers, and Senior Member of IEEE.

3)、Dr. Guillermo A. Francia
Director of the Center for Information Security and Assurance at JSU.

Dr. Guillermo A. Francia, III received his BS in Mechanical Engineering degree from Mapua Tech in 1978. His Ph.D. in Computer Science is from New Mexico Tech. Before joining JSU in 1994, he was the chairman of the Computer Science department at Kansas Wesleyan University.
